Brussels : (Rasheed Ahmed) Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) Mr Ali Raza Syed has
expressed heartfelt sorrow and grief over death of prominent Kashmiri
Intellectual Ambassador Yusuf Buch in the USA.
The Former Senior Advisor to United Nation (UN) Secretary General and
eminent Kashmir intellectual Ambassador Yousaf Buch, who dedicated his
whole life to the Kashmir cause, was passed away in New York.
Chairman KC-EU said, may Allah place his soul in haven and give his
family a courage to bear this great loss.
It is important to mention that body of late Yousaf Buch will be transported
to Pakistan to be buried at the graveyard of former President Azad Jammu
and Kashmir Mirwaiz Yousaf Shah in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad
Kashmir.
Buch (98), who was best known as a well-known expert on the Kashmir
dispute, also ran a Free-Kashmir Centre in New York from 1957 to 1972.
Late ambassador Buch was also the Minister for Information in the cabinet
of late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Switzerland.
