BEIJING: Chinese foreign ministry has said Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan visit to China will provide opportunity to leaders of both the countries to open a new chapter for further development of bilateral relationship under new situation.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said this during a weekly press briefing here.
He stated Imran Khan will attend China International Export Expo (CIIE) and he will also exchange views with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang during his visit.
The spokesperson said that the two countries will hold talks at length on mutual relations, cooperation and matters of mutual interest.
Pakistan will attend CIIE as special guest and Imran Khan will participate in inaugural session of Import Expo and he will deliver an important speech therein.
The spokesperson expressed confidence that up- coming changes in international and local situation will not leave impact on Sino-Pak relations.
It may be mentioned that Imran Khan will visit China on November 2 on the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang and President Xi Jinping
