Paris : Pakistan Muslim League (N) French delegation led by senior member Talat Mahmood Chauhan met Chief Co-ordinator International Affairs Barrister Amjad Malik and congratulated him and party leader Mian Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on the victory of Muslim League-N in the general elections held on February 8, 2024.

The delegation also congratulated Barrister Amjad Malik on performing Umrah and expressed goodwill to all Muslims living overseas. Furthermore, they prayed, “Allah Almighty bestows his special grace on the Muslim World and Pakistan.

Barrister Amjad Malik thanking the guests said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s government is trying to stabilize the country, and more steps are being taken for the immigrants. He said that according to the directives of our Quaid Nawaz Sharif, the economic development of Pakistan will be the main priority of the PML-N government.

He said that Overseas Pakistanis will be made a part of the Parliament as per the manifesto and will reconstitute an advisory council consisting of role model persons abroad including those Overseas in the Gulf, Europe, Britain, and America.

He said that names have been sought from all the overseas party office bearers, and the advisory council will play the role of a think-tank.

Amjad Malik said that we have already shown that the Muslim League (N) will not disappoint the immigrants, The Muslim League (N) believes in working, we do not believe in propaganda.

He said that the 16-member package of measures and initiatives will be among the priorities of his party’s government, including reserved seats for overseas Pakistanis, a one-window investment facility, dedicated immigration counters, special courts and commercial counters, and public sector housing. Schemes include a 10 percent quota and five percent financial concession, a special national savings scheme, online biometric verification, facilitation for business projects and start-ups, establishment of overseas commissions in all provinces, welcome and full facilities on return home, from property. These include dispute resolution, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, appreciation and rewards for high remittance senders, online verification of documents, online passport and NADRA facility, and establishment of advisory councils comprising expatriates.

He said that all these priorities will be given special consideration in the new government, the opinions of the immigrants will be taken into account in the establishment of a think tank and the names of the migrants will be arranged together with their embassies.

Talat Mahmood Chauhan, the chief guardian of Muslim League-N-France, said that the next phase is trade, and problems can be dealt with by promoting trade. We salute International Affairs Wing who represented the migrants effectively.

He said that the restructuring of the Commercial Wing will increase investment in the country, if the 16 points of the manifesto are implemented, the paid propaganda campaign overseas will be stopped. There is no substitute for truth and there is no substitute for work.

The delegation included Vice President Haji Muzmal Hussain, Raja Muhammad Ali Joint Secretary, Khan Asghar Khan President Youth Wing, Women Wing Sultana Bibi, and Zahid Mustafa Awan.

Barrister Amjad Malik appreciated the services of Muslim League (N) France and emphasized understanding and knowing the importance of commercial wing, women, and the power of social media and directed to involvement of all people in future organizations.
