MIRPUR (AJK),  (Parliament Times)  : US-based JKLF (Yasin Malik faction) Acting Chairman Raja Muzaffar has demanded that the Kashmiri political leader Yasin Malik, languishing in India’s infamous Tihar Jail must be given political space as Britains provided to Mahatma Gandhi during the Quit India movement against British rule.

The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF-Yasin Malik ) acting chief, in a statement issued late Friday, underlined that the people of internationally-acknowledged occupied Jammu Kashmir state were living in an environment of sophistication, says a message reaching and released to the media here on Saturday.

At the same time, in response to a recent video featuring an interview of @dhruv_rathee by Karan Thapar, where Prime Minister Modi was referred to as “80% a dictator and a coward,” US-based veteran Kashmiri leader and JKLF (Yasin Malik faction) Acting Chairman Raja Muzaffar has given a call to action for the Indian voters to critically evaluate their future leadership choices.

Emphasizing the importance of assessing leaders who uphold democratic principles, Muzaffar urged, in a tweet, the Indian citizens to actively participate in the democratic process by engaging in dialogue, exercising their voting rights, and holding leaders ‘ especially those of fundamentalist approach, accountable. says a message reaching and released to the media here on Saturday.

“The focus is on creating a political landscape that prioritizes integrity, transparency, and the voices of the people,” he observed.

“The call to action underscores the significance of democracy, which has never been available in India in letter and spirit and the responsibility of citizens to shape a future of the so-called secular nation especially in the current Modi-led fascist and hardliner Indian rule”, he categorically stated.
