London : Dr. Rana Sohail Chairman of DIABETES CENTER Murad Ali Khan and his team have raised awareness of diabetes and their new center in Rawalkot Azad Kashmir for which Kashmiri Dr. Israr H. Khan from Australia has donated eight kanals of land on his behalf. Organized a fundraising iftar dinner in collaboration with social entrepreneur Raja Aftab Khan at the local hall in Oldham to build a charity which was well attended by the community from across the UK and actively participated in fundraising – organizational duties.
The famous Pothwari poets of Great Britain Raja Tariq Rabbani and Masood Alam Shami performed well. Other participants include Farooq Aziz, Dr. Rana Sanullah, Raja Zahoor, Sardar Kamran, Haji Nisar, Tariq Mehmood, Rizwan Raja, Haji Tariq, Sardar Abid Saeed, Chaudhry Ishaq Bazmi, Sardar Iftikhar, Dr. Farooq, Ajmal, Yasir Advocate, Ghafar, Murshid Liaquat, Parvez Tyson, Raja Rizwan, Jameel Ahsan, Umar Nadeem Trustee, Mian Ghyarif Hussain, Raja Jalil, Hasan Shah, Hasan Raza Dr. Sohail Rana, Chairman Murad Ali Khan and Trustee Farooq Aziz and Umar Nadeem, the leaders of the Diabetic Center, said that diabetes is a deadly disease. New hospitals are under construction in Sahiwal and Karachi and today’s fundraising is being done for the construction of a diabetic hospital in Rawalpindi, Azad Kashmir – he added that those overseas who give us funds can go and visit Pakistan. 100% of proceeds go to Diabetic Hospitals – We thank those who participated in today’s Fundraising Iftar Dinner – Today’s Fundraising Iftar Dinner organizer Raja Aftab Khan thanked all his friends and community members today. He thanked them for participating in the fundraising and said that the people of The Diabetic Center pay tribute to them for providing free treatment to people in Pakistan. There is a lot in our community in today’s fundraising program, the awareness of diabetics was explained in detail – we all should support them fully – Mian Graf Hussain – Syed Ansar Shah – Raja Rizwan Chaudhary Ishaq Bazmi and Masood Alam Shami and Others said that The Diabetic Center is providing free treatment to deserving people for this disease – we strongly appeal to our community in UK to contribute their own in this noble mission – to continue this good work.
