Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Azad Kashmir Forest Minister Ch. Muhammad Akmal Sargala has said that the Forest Department is a professional and organized organization and the government will use all resources to make it stable. Forests are the backbone of any economy.

The employees of the forest department perform their duties honestly and conscientiously. But most of the population depends on it. It is a public service department and the responsibility of making Kashmir green is at the head of this department. The forest department has been successful to a large extent in keeping with its limited resources. The performance regarding the protection of forests is commendable, he said.

According to the vision of the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Ch. Anwarul Haq, the government is taking all measures to protect the forests, he said.

The state of Jammu and Kashmir is a beautiful region. In 1947, our population was 8 lakh, and it is 42 lakh. This population pressure has also increased on the forests. The forests have a very important role in its beauty, it is our duty to protect it, the foresters, employees, and public should also play their role in the protection of the forests and wildlife together with the Forestry Department, he said.
