Dadyal, (Parliament Times) : Two drug dealers were arrested and as many as 664 bottles of liquor were recovered from their possession by local police in this town of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

Station House Officer (SHO) Dadyal Rashid Habib Masoodi told this correspondent that the arrests were made from Khaira Bala and Suchani villages during an ongoing operation against the unscrupulous elements involved in the illicit business of drugs and arms.
The accused who were identified as Raja Rafaqat Khan and Muhammad Aqib Jatt had reportedly brought liquor for sale on the eve of Eidul Fitr. However, on a tip-off, the police not only confiscated the contraband item but also arrested the duo, the SHO said.
They had been booked under sections 3/4/26 of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, he added.
SHO Masoodi asked the conscientious people of Dadyal to prove themselves as responsible members of society by playing a positive role in suppressing and eliminating the drug mafia and their backers.
He assured that action would be taken without loss of time and any discrimination on any reasonable and authentic piece of information shared by people either in person or through social media platforms.
