ISLAMABAD): Supreme Court (SC) has sought policy from chief secretary and secretary High Education Commission within two weeks on the matter of appointment and transfer of director in Higher Education Commission (HEC) KP.
The court inquired is it the power of chief minister to give name for summary in connection with appointment of director in HEC.

This order was issued by a 3-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa Friday.

The CJP Qazi Faez Isa remarked the children cannot benefit in higher education. The teachers are preferring administrative work in HEC to teaching the children. The previous government is in KP
Professor Dr Muhammad Shafi told the court Director Education has control of headmaster in the entire province. In the previous era of PTI, juniors were appointed instead of seniors.

The CJP remarked don’t make any political talk with the court.

Justice Irfan remarked this way the appointment of director becomes fully political.

Secretary Education KP said court should evolve some procedure and we will implement it.

Justice Irfan remarked evolving procedure is job of government and not of court.

The court while adjourning the hearing of the case after Eid summoned policy from chief secretary and secretary HEC on the matter of appointment and transfer of director in KP HEC.
