This movie features donkey routes, or dunki travellers, who travle from a country to a European country by crossing the borders (illegally). Without applying for a visa, they form a group, and then they cross many borders with many difficulties they face just for a better life in European countries. This movie is about those travelers. The movie is based on the true story of Hardy Singh, who travelled from India to England by crossing many countries borders. He was a soldier who came to Punjab’s village of Lulto to give back a tape recorder to a man’s family, who saved him when he was shot during an operation. The man who saved him was a champion in racing. When Hardy Singh comes to his village, he meets with that man’s sister and family, and then his sister tells him about the difficulties they are facing now. Her other friends are also having some problems. Everyone has problems, and they have only one solution: “ London, England.”. They joined an English speaking school, they tried to go on a student scholarship, a boy was selected, and he went to England. Another boy who burned himself because he failed an exam just wants to go to London to save his lover, who was married forcefully to a boy who lives in London. He tortured her very badly; that’s why her lover wanted to go, but she committed suicide because she knew that her lover had failed the exam. That’s why they both killed themselves. Furthermore, they trying to go there, so first they crossed south Asia and middle east countries border, Where Hardy Singh’s three friends killed in the middle during traveling. Finally, they reached England with great difficulty. They met with the boy who went to England on scholarship, who was working as a statue in the road and cleaning toilets to feed himself. That means every dunki traveller who reached England, was so illegal; that’s why they weren’t allowed to live in the country without any passports, etc. Hardy Singh comes back because they were all caught by the police, and others declared in court that their lives were at risk if they went back to their own country, but Hardy Singh told the truth, and he sent back to his country, India. Meanwhile, they lived twenty-five years in England, but they didn’t make their lives better, they worked as servants, and every time they missed their home, family, friends, village, and environment,. In conclusion, Dunki Traveller is so risky and very dangerous, With some amount of money, they send you to England by crossing the borders, which is too dangerous. This movie was made only to show the real faces of those who believe in Dunki Travellers and think that there is a better life in England. In the movie Shah Rukh Khan, says, “ we were born in our country, so we want to die in our country, Our country is better than others because it’s ours, we can do what we want.”. inally, that movie is so amazing to watch that if someone wants to go to England or any other country for a better life, they must watch this movie first.
