Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times): Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Engineer Aamer Khattak said that there should be no complaint of cluster distribution anywhere. Along with the ration package distribution, the process of verification of the rest of the beneficiaries should also be completed soon. He expressed these views while addressing the meeting of Divisional Coordination Committee. According to the details, a meeting of Divisional Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Aamer Khattak. Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hasan Waqar Cheema, Additional Commissioner Syed Nizarat Ali and DC Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal and Murree participated in the meeting. Commissioner Rawalpindi was briefed on Nighaban Ramadan Package and Model Ramadan Bazaar. It was informed in the briefing that so far 156,952 beneficiaries have been delivered ration at their door steps across the division. 48486 in Rawalpindi district, 47722 in Attock, 21310 in Jhelum, 36438 in Chakwal and 2996 in Murree have benefited from the Nighaban Ramadan package. In the meeting, Commissioner Rawalpindi directed the officers to be busy in the field during the day. Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Aamer Khattak while addressing the meeting said that divisional coordination meeting will be held daily at 8 pm. The purpose of holding a late night meeting is to check the performance of the whole day and set targets for the next day. There should be no complaints of cluster distribution anywhere. Along with the ration package distribution, the process of verification of the rest of the beneficiaries should also be completed soon. He said that in addition to the Ramzan Model Bazaar, the implementation of the official price list should be ensured in the general market as well. Administrative officers should participate in the bidding process in the market to moderate the prices of essential items. Prices should be controlled by balancing supply and demand. Model Ramzaan bazaars should be kept simple. Instead of renovating the market, the focus should be on quality and availability of essential commodities at low cost.
