Lahore, (Parliament Times) : Chief Executive Officer PPIF and Director General Population Welfare Department Saman Roy has said that PPIF in Punjab province is based on improving family planning resources and reducing population growth through its use. A target has been set to reach 55000 youths and married couples in the three districts of Attock, Khushab, and Lodhran in providing family planning, gender equality information, and services. Through this program providing free access to quality family planning services to the people of the province and institutionalizing quality of care in family planning services. Coordination of family planning service providers is also being improved through the World Bank program. He said that the Department of Population Welfare Punjab is currently implementing several initiatives that will strengthen its capacity as a whole and the expected results of the strategy will be to create a healthy and productive environment for the promotion of family planning in the province.
