MIRPUR ( AJK), (Parliament Times) : US–based Acting Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF – Yasin Malik Group), on Monday welcomed the petition of the Dallas Peace and Justice Center and expresses gratitude to the organization for raising the matter of jailed illustrious Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik’s release with the Government of India.
In a statement reaching and released to the media here on Monday, Muzaffar emphasized that the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have long suffered from the conflict, are grateful for the support and recognition of their beloved leader, currently imprisoned in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
He further said that the JKLF shares the center’s belief in the power of peaceful dialogue and the importance of inclusive representation in resolving the Kashmir conflict. Muzaffar states that the release of Yasin Malik would not only facilitate meaningful discussions but also provide a platform for the aspirations and concerns of the people of Kashmir to be heard and considered.
Muzaffar concluded by expressing hope that the petition will garner the attention it deserves, leading to positive steps towards a peaceful resolution in the region, the press message said.
