Lahore : 2nd state-of-the-art Business Facilitation Centre of Punjab has been made operational under one-window operation in Sialkot. Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Business Facilitation Centre at the Anwaar Club of Sialkot and distributed NOCs among the business personalities. CM visited the Business Facilitation Centre being established for the facilitation of investors and reviewed swift paced one-window operation being established for the national and foreign investors. Mohsin Naqvi inspected the counters of provincial departments being established in the Business Facilitation Centre and inquired about the matters from the staff members. He directed for the issuance of NOCs within the stipulated timeframe for the facilitation of investors. Mohsin Naqvi monitored the whole one-window operation process. 124 NOCs for the businessmen will be issued under a single roof from the counters of government departments in the Business Facilitation Centre. The issuance of NOCs will be ensured in 14 days. The motive behind launching this flagship program by the Punjab government is to create ease for the investors. Different departments will provide services under one roof. CM while talking with the media announced to complete the road from airport up to Sialkot by 15th February. Mohsin Naqvi further stated that he does not say anything which he cannot fulfil. “If I make some promise then I fulfil it under any circumstance. We strive to complete all the projects before the end of our tenure.” The dual road coming towards Sialkot from the airport will be completed by 15th February. Tenders of Sialkot Airport road have been issued and formal work will be launched from 17th January. Priority will be given for early completion of the Sialkot Airport Road. Hospitals upgradation work in the Sialkot city is ongoing. Work on roads carpeting is also ongoing. We do not make any tall claim but the present conditions are much better than the past. Issuance of NOCs in the Business Facilitation Centre has started in Sialkot. Business Facilitation Centres in Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi will be inaugurated in coming few days. A Business Facilitation Centre has been made functional in Sialkot today after Lahore. The Business Facilitation Centre of Sialkot is more beautiful, spacious and is much better than the Lahore Business Facilitation Centre. Directions have been issued for starting immediate work on the Sialkot Airport Road and we are striving to our utmost to complete the projects at the earliest. Hopefully, first phase of the hospitals upgradation work will be completed. “Sialkot Airport Road is part of my priorities. It is my and my whole team’s utmost strive to complete all the projects before the completion of our tenure.” Wherever complaints come to surface, they will be immediately redressed. Full attention is being paid on the improvement of teaching hospitals, DHQs and THQs. A significant improvement will be seen in the THQ hospitals across Punjab. We could not focus our attention on the improvement of BHQ hospitals as BHQs are thousands in numbers. There is a marked difference in the conditions of THQ, DHQ and teaching hospitals at present and earlier. We could not attain our desired results with regard to the elimination of encroachments. Provincial Ministers SM Tanveer, Amir Mir, Secretary Industries, Commissioner Gujranwala, RPO, Deputy Commissioner Sialkot, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industries and a large number of industrialists were also present on the occasion.
