PEC, the proud recipient of the ICC Global Award-2023 at the UN COP28 Climate Conference on December 8, 2023, in Dubai, continues to lead the charge in steering the Engineering Profession and industry practices toward sustainable innovation. The prestigious award recognized PEC’s outstanding contributions, including the recent updates to the Building Code of Pakistan and the development of the Green Building Code of Pakistan-2023, incorporating provisions for Rainwater Harvesting in Buildings.
Post-event, PEC remains committed to close collaboration with local stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. By leveraging financial support from national and international organizations, PEC aims to enforce codes through capacity building, policy-making, and government incentivization.
