It has been 76 years since the country gained freedom. Pakistan has never had free and fair elections; since independence, elections have been constantly contested by opposition parties, and no government has ever completed a 5-year term. Unfortunately, a country claimed to be democratic has always been subject to military establishment policies, and the chosen government always has problems with the military establishment when the policies become difficult to enforce on people. Being a nuclear power in Pakistan implies having excellent relations with other countries in the region, but this is not the case. Since 2017, when an elected prime minister was pronounced disqualified by the judiciary for being corrupt, despite proving himself in court, nothing has gone in his favour. Since then, Pakistan has not had good policies in the region, and the caretaker government announced elections in February 2024. Still, some political parties have already accused the military establishment and the caretaker government of favouring only one party, and this government, according to the analysis, will be given to the party that has military support.Politics in Pakistan is all about who the military likes and dislikes, which is one of the main reasons why people suffer in Pakistan. According to reports, the party despised by the military establishment has a better chance of winning the upcoming elections, but the polls must take place and people must vote.People will decide the fate of political parties in these elections. No matter who wins or loses.
