The International Human Rights Day of 2023, like the previous years, has seen the traditional indifference, silence, and coldness of powerful countries. The purpose of celebrating this day is to protect human rights and prevent their violation. But it is a pity that the same worn-out rhetoric was thrown by the powerful who are in the forefront of violating human rights and reiterated the determination that every human being is free and independent, therefore no other human being can enslave him, therefore the basic human rights. No racial, religious or sexual discrimination of any kind will be tolerated regarding rights and freedom. How much contradiction is found in saying and acting on these things? On the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, no one saw the ongoing Israeli destruction in Palestine. International organizations whose only responsibility is to use their influence where there is excess and oppression or violation of rights. Such incidents can be prevented. The ongoing human tragedy in Gaza is at its peak. Thousands of innocent Palestinian Muslims have been martyred, including a large number of innocent children but it is a pity that other major organizations, including the United Nations’ Security Council, did not raise a strong voice against the ongoing oppression in Palestine. While the powerful United States and Israel are stubbornly unwilling to stop the self-inflicted war against the innocent and innocent Palestinians andthis series is still going on. It is a pity for the Islamic countries that should have played their full role to solve this problem and stop the ongoing Israeli brutality. There were even obstacles in reaching the Palestinian Muslims who were suffering from hunger and thirst, including water and other aid. International human rights organizations continued to turn a blind eye and Israel’s aggression continued. The powerful Muslim countries should have played a role to stop the war immediately by adopting a strict attitude in this regard, but unfortunately it did not happen. This is the situation in Occupied Kashmir as well, where not raising voice against the Indian persecution of Kashmiris or the silence of international organizations to stop the narrative of ongoing atrocities on Kashmiris is a question mark on the performance of these institutions. If we examine the human rights organizations that have been formed, we do not find any history of the concept of human rights in the West, while the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (SAW), may God bless him and grant him peace, fourteen years ago, a comprehensive concept of human rights called humanity. By putting it into practice, a just society was formed, according to which all human beings living on the planet are equally entitled to basic rights, and to achieve them, human traditions, ethics in any region or society,Justice and naturally social factors must be strong and stable. International human rights organizations should reassess themselves and create laws that apply equally to the weak and the powerful. Under this ideology, human life is going on and where this ideology is not given importance, those states and societies are met, whose history is full of instructive examples. However, the problem here is that the modern concept of this ideology was formulated after the Second World War when the international public order organization “League of Nations” failed to prevent the world from war and the violation of human rights became common. At that time, a new organization called the United Nations came into existence, whose main three points were peace, development and human rights. In the light of this charter, the United Nations was established in 1948 to save the world from further bloodshed and destruction. Unanimously approved the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and by binding the United Nations, it not only determined human rights, but also formulated the same principles and laws for all countries, and it was determined to prevent the international community from future bloody wars. This day is celebrated all over the world on December 10 for 75 years to revive the commitment. Of course, the words included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are the voice of every heart, but they do not seem to be implemented. It is on the move for rights and everywhere is a victim of terrorism and aggressive ambitions of those who are more powerful than him. A living example is many regions of the world, including Palestine and Kashmir, where human rights are violated day and night and the powerful oppress the weaker than themselves. Foothills of oppression are falling, but international organizations seem to be limited to speeches and statements in this regard. Their silence against these atrocities is criminal. Kashmir, Palestine, Syria, Burma, Lebanon, Bosnia, Rohingya, Afghanistan i.e. from east to west and from north to south are the pictures that speak of the indifference of the world conscience whose sobs These voices can be clearly heard echoing that “when will this story of oppression and persecution end and who will end it”! Because those who had hopes have bowed down to powerful countries or have made dance in the shadow of swords their slogan for the sake of their own interests. It is also hard to say that if we look at our homeland Pakistan, the situation of human rights is not good here either. The poor and the weak are enslaved by calling the basic rights as favors, although there are numerous institutions and organizations to protect the rights of the people, but when there is oppression of the weak, all of them disappear or stand aloof. They watch the spectacle because the rule of law and justice is a question mark for both the poor and the rich. Even if the rich are caught, every facility is provided even inside the jail. On the other hand, if a poor person is compelled by hunger and steals even bread, then he is treated as big criminal. Here, the appearance of the poor person does not count for years, while the poor plaintiff goes round the courts for a lifetime. Dies but the decision does not come. Here it also happens that after the death of the accused, it is found that the accused was innocent. People are protesting for their rights in every sector. Teachers, doctors, farmers, people belonging to all walks of life have to come to the streets to get their rights, but no one listens to their cries. Invariably, they are dismissed from their jobs or ordered to deal with the same hands on charges of state terrorism. There is horror, but the sword of justice does not waver, and the treatment of women by the Islamic society reminds us of the era of before prophet Muhammad (SAW), when such incidents of cruelty, violence and abuse are coming forward that the soul trembles. If the global conscience is dead, is our conscience alive? Where are those who are supposed to ensure the provision of basic human rights in the beloved country sleeping? What is their interest? Let’s accept that the undifferentiated implementation of law and justice can provide protection to basic human rights, otherwise the society can never be prevented from becoming a forest. We have to ensure honesty and impartial implementation of law and justice by erasing it because provision of basic human rights is possible only with impartial implementation of law and justice and for this purpose we all have to play our positive role.
