“Don’t wanna go out… There are humans out there” ~Franz Kafka Death is a doubtless reality, along with natural causes such as pandemics, common day diseases, earthquakes, etc, humans themselves have been one of the prominent factors being declared as killers of humanity. If we go back to the history of humans, many people died during pandemics and other causes like the Black Death Plague (1348-1350), the Influenza pandemic (1918-19), AIDS and Covid (1959-present), and Covid (2019-present). But it can’t be pushed back that humans have spared no chance to kill each other. Their passion for killing each other has been the same throughout history, only names changed. The list is too long, in the medieval age there were plenty of religious wars like the Crusades. They killed each other and also got killed. In the Renaissance the initial time when the trends changed. Humanism replaced the religious doctrines and the Industrial Revolution played a crucial role in enhancing the philosophy of materialism and made the people materialists. Now this materialistic approach built the thirst for power in humans caused the First World War and the Second World War resulted in millions of people’s deaths. the genocide of European Jews in the Holocaust, the Soviet Union and the American blitz in Afghanistan, millions of African slaves in the West industries, and many more, clearly portray the humanity crisis by humans. As a result of materialism, feudalism, and agriculture mitigated industries were expanded and thus the tendency of the State was promoted unlike the medieval age’s trend of “Wataniyat”. Consequently, after Shakespeare, no one wrote impactful tragedies and tragedies moved downward. The reason behind this was the word “State“ is a materialistic term while for national heroes tragedies used to be written which was common in the medieval age_the time of Wataniyat. All these factors have a vibrant impact on today’s life causing humanity’s crisis. Palestine’s Gaza is a clear example of humanity’s crisis landscape. The world affected by materialism has turned a blind eye to them. The Western so-called champions of human rights have turned back to the cries of children and the lamentation of mothers in Gaza. Even Muslim states trying to secure their materialistic personal interests are not willing to stand openly with Gaza. The famous claims “The world’s Muslims are one body”, “Suffering in one part means suffering for all”, and the Arab nationalistic claim that from Maghreb’s Atlantic shore to the Gulf’s warm water they are one nation_ all these are dead now for “Hell on Earth”, Palestine. In the recent Arab League meeting, the proposed stance for Palestine was to avoid the use of US and other military service bases in Arab states to supply Israel with weapons, freezing diplomatic, economic, and threats to leverage oil to apply pressure on West and Isreal in the ongoing tension. But the unlucky Palestinian’s blood could not wake up the Arabs, out of 22 members, only 11 supported the proposed action plan and the remaining countries directly or indirectly refused to do so. UAE and Bahrain who have friendly relations with Israel rejected the proposal directly. According to a media report, four influential countries in the Arab League opposed the strict steps against Israel. Previously, the White House claimed that Saudia Arabia is still interested in pursuing a settlement to normalize relations with Israel after the war in Gaza ends. Concludingly, human rights organizations, equality claims, and humanity claims are just tools for the West to sustain their power in the world. They simply follow the Machiavellian philosophy of ”end justifies the mean”, to rule on world for this sake they ignore everything that comes to obstacle the path. This materialist approach has always led to humanity crises in history.
