Child marriage is a serious problem that needs attention. It is heartbreaking to think about the impacts of it on the young generation such as us. Any marriage that is done under the age of 18 is considered a child marriage. However, it affects millions of children’s lives worldwide. It is important to have awareness about this issue and find the best solution to it. Additionally, child marriage leads a child to adverse consequences such as limited education, increased health risks, and continued poverty. However, education plays an excellent role to stop child marriage. When children, especially girls, have access to get quality education, they can delay marriage and follow their dreams by attending educational institutions. On the other hand, It’s also essential to talk about the causes of child marriage. Poverty, gender unequality and cultural norms are the most contributing factors around us. Promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls can challenge the destructive myths about girls. The only way out to create a meaningful society we should emphasize on that child marriage is no longer accepted.
