RAWALPINDI, (Parliament Times) : Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaqat Ali Chatha said that Islamic scholar Professor Ahmed Rafique Akhtar holds a unique position in literary and religious circles due to his religious services and writings. Professor Ahmad Rafique Akhtar is a metaphor of guidance for the youth. People of all ages, especially the youth, can benefit from his writings. He expressed these views in the event “A sitting with Prof. Ahmad Rafiq Akhtar” held at Rawalpindi Gymkhana Club. He said that the teaching style of Prof. Ahmad Rafique Akhtar is very simple and easy to understand. He has enlightened the hearts and souls of thousands of people inside and outside the country. Islamic teachings preach peace and brotherhood. In order to eliminate social inequality, we have to follow the teachings of Islam. On this occasion, Professor Ahmed Rafique Akhtar said that the Holy Quran is a beacon of light for all human beings. We must follow Islamic teachings and avoid grouping and divisiveness.
