Viqar un-Nisa College for Women regarding the First Higher Education Department Punjab
Inter-Colleges Sports Championship at the provincial level. Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaqat Ali Chatha was the chief guest in the event. Addressing the event, Commissioner Rawalpindi said that it is a pleasure to organize the First Higher Education Department Punjab
Inter Colleges Sports Championship at the provincial level. Along with academic activities,
extracurricular activities are very important for a healthy life. Conducting extracurricular
activities has always yielded positive results for the youth. He said that extra-curricular activities give children an opportunity to express their talents. Sports provide entertainment. Extra- curricular activities develop self-confidence along with the essence of self-reliance.
Competitiveness brings out talent. Sports instill discipline and sense of responsibility in a person. Principals of various colleges including Director Colleges Prof. Sher Ahmed Sati participated in the event. At the provincial level, in the First Higher Education Department Punjab Inter-College Sports Championship, boys and girls teams will participate in gymnastics, athletics, wrestling, cricket, hockey, football, badminton, volleyball and kabaddi. Teams from Rawalpindi Division left for Lahore to participate in Sports Championship.
