ISLAMABAD: At least 12 laborers were killed when a wall of under-construction bridge collapsed near Golra Mor, Peshawar Road in Islamabad.
Due to heavy rains a tragic incident has taken place near Golra Morr Peshawar road claiming lives of 12 laborers.

According to police the rescue teams have pulled out 12 dead bodies with the help of machinery. Rescue operation is underway to rescue more persons likely to be trapped in rubble.
Wall is reported to be 100-foot wide and 11-foot high, under which the laborers were living in a tent at the construction site.
As per police Rescue teams have pulled out 4 laborers alive from debris of wall.
According to PIMS hospital 12 bodies have been shifted in the hospital so far. 4 injured have also been brought in the hospital who are undergoing surgery.
PIMS doctors and paramedical staff is put on high alert due to the incident.

Dr Mubashar Daha has said the ages of those died in the incident range between 19 to 36 years.
In another incident of wall collapse an 11-year-old girl was killed in Mohammadi Town within the jurisdiction of Khana Police Station of Islamabad.
