TOKYO: Foreign Minister (FM) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said Pakistan wants to bolster cooperation in diverse fields including investment, information technology commerce, tourism with Japan and the private sector can play key role to deepen bilateral relations.

“We want to promote relations with Japan”, this was stated by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at a joint press conference along with his Japanese counterpart Hayashi Yoshimasa here Monday.

” This is my first visit to Japan and beautiful city Tokyo. Pakistan and Japan are long standing friends. People of Pakistan have deep sentiments of affection and warmth for Japan and people of Japan. .We have stood with each other at times of need. We attach much importance to our relations with Japan, he remarked.
We have witnessed new energy and passion in our relations through persistent high level exchanges last year, he held.
I have held result oriented talks with Japanese FM that how can we further deepen the bilateral cooperation. he observed.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said we have also deliberated on scores of joint ventures by Japanese enterprise in Pakistan.
The two sides agreed to conduct language skills assessment tests for Japanese language in Pakistan to facilitate export of skilled workforce.
I will meet people from private sector during my visit to Japan, he added.
