Cotton is one of the main crops of Pakistan and it is mainly grown in Punjab province. Even Punjab is called the “cotton warehouse”. The cotton growing season is usually from June to October. Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has provided adequate facilities to the cotton farmers in this regard. Many steps have been taken to provide the best facilities to farmers organized by Mohsin Naqvi. He has worked hard for the development of farmers and helped farmers who grow cotton on agricultural land. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, cotton is being cultivated on 46 lakh acres of land in Punjab. This is an important initiative that provides financial support to farmers and is of great importance to the country’s cotton trade. With the support of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, cotton cultivation has increased, providing employment to local farmers and helping the country’s economic growth. Cotton provides various benefits such as cotton being a major part of the very popular apparel industry. Moreover, cotton is also very important as an industrial commodity. It is used to make numerous products such as cannons, ropes, belts, coal, copper,and more. Cotton cultivation has become an important commercial opportunity for Pakistan. Pakistan exports its cotton to foreign countries and earns billions of dollars in exports. Cotton is one of the most important crops for Pakistan, especially in Punjab province. It is used as an industrial commodity and accounts for millions of dollars worth of Pakistan’s exports. Cotton cultivation provides valuable opportunities to the farmers and is very important for the economic development of the country. Apart from cotton, it is very popular in the apparel industry and stays cool which provides better comfort in summers. Also, cottonseed oil is produced which is used in the edible oil industry. For all this, the Punjab government is finding very efficient ways and providing new modern facilities for the farmers.
