One of the elementary recommendations is the construction of a fuel station to replace the temporary sheds near Upper Adda. This strategic move could provide a convenient and cost-effective fuel source for the university’s vehicles while also catering to the local community’s needs. By offering competitive pricing and quality service, the university may attract customers from the surrounding area, ultimately generating a steady income stream. Additionally, it is suggested that the university may consider constructing a resort or guest house along the picturesque river bank in the Chehla campus. This venture aims to tap into the region’s tourism potential and provide a tranquil and comfortable accommodation option for visitors. The scenic location coupled with modern amenities could make it an attractive destination for tourists, potentially boosting the university’s revenue. Recognizing the importance of health and well-being, it is recommended that the UAJK explore the construction of a state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming arena. Such a facility would not only serve as a recreational space for students but also present an opportunity to generate income through membership fees. By offering affordable membership packages and promoting fitness initiatives, the university may attract both students and external community members, ensuring a sustainable revenue source. Another suggestion is to establish a restaurant adjacent to the education department and playground in the Chehla campus. This initiative would cater to the needs of students and faculty, providing them with convenient dining options. Moreover, by maintaining high-quality food and service, the restaurant could attract customers from the local community, potentially boosting its profitability.To address the printing and photocopying needs of students and staff, it is suggested that the UAJK consider creating its own printing and photocopying facilities across its different campuses. By offering competitive rates and reliable services, the university can not only eliminate the need for outsourcing but also generate revenue from these essential services.In terms of funding for these projects, a unique approach has been proposed. By deducting a percentage of employee salaries, the university administration may raise funds for the development of these assets. By providing targeted financial aid and resources, the HEC can enable UAJK to implement its proposed initiatives effectively. This support can come in the form of research grants, infrastructure development funds, or special budget allocations specifically aimed at addressing the financial constraints faced by UAJK.
