MIRPUR (AJK) ( Parliament Times): Azad govt. of the State of Jammu & Kashmir on Saturday assigned additional charge of Secretary Food of the State to Muhammad Raqeeb Chaudhry, incumbent Secretary Sports, Youth & Culture of the State government, says an official notification issued by the AJK government late Friday.
The AJK Govt. took the step after the AJK Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Chaudhry suspended services of the incumbent Secretary Food of AJK Mansoor Qadir Dar allegedly for dereliction of duties, according to another official notification issued by the AJK Government on Friday.
The Prime Minister Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir on Friday accorded formal approval for initiation of disciplinary proceeding against Mr. Mansoor Qadir Dar, Secretary Food Department under Rule 5 of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1977 on account of submitting two summaries on same subject to the Authority by misleading, misquoting and in contradiction of discussion taken place in meeting with the Senior Minister of the AJK government, dated May 25, 2023 regarding allocation of wheat quota. The Prime Minister also ordered for suspension of the aforesaid officer from service under Rule 6 of Azad Jammu Kashmir Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1977, according to the official notification issued by AJK Services and General Administration Department.
