TAXAS: Dr Fouzia Siddiqui has appealed to Americans Muslims in connection with financial and legal assistance to her sister Dr Aafia Siddiqui imprisoned in US.
Addressing Muslim community in Plano Islamic centre Dr Fouzia Siddiqui and JI Senator Mushtaq Ahmad said Jail authorities extended cooperation to them in US.
Dr Fouzia said American Muslims should extend help in collection of funds for her sister Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmad said ” I have come here in my personal capacity to meet my sister Dr Aafia. I am not representing Pakistan government. Muslims living in US should play their full fledged role for human rights.
Prayers were also offered for the safety, security and release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui in Plano mosque Texas.
