Bradford (Arif Chaudhary): The detention of Yasin Malik and the attempt to convert his life sentence into death sentence is a clear proof of the malice and cowardice of the Indian government. When the occupying Indian army could not end the freedom spirit of Kashmiris, it has resorted to such tactics. The international community and the British government should play their role in stopping the illegal life imprisonment and possible death sentence of JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik. They are being ill-treated in jail and now the Indian government is trying to end their lives on pretexts. These views were expressed by JKSDMI founder chairman Raja Najabat Hussain (Star of Pakistan) while addressing a meeting of various political parties and schools of thought held in Bradford. He also criticized the propaganda and disinformation of the Indian government and said that India is defaming the freedom struggle of Kashmiri freedom fighters and terming it as terrorism. The freedom struggle of Kashmiris is in accordance with the United Nations Charter and the execution of Kashmiri leaders by calling it terrorism is a proof of India’s hypocrisy. British Member of Parliament Muhammad Yasin took special part in this meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek Haq Khudaradit International and said that the Kashmiri freedom fighter leader Yasin Malik is imprisoned in the notorious Indian Tehar Jail and the Indian government is trying to get him sentenced to death through the court. Muhammad Yasin MP condemned this move by India and demanded the British government to play its role in releasing Yasin Malik and stopping human rights violations in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He assured the British Kashmiris that He will raise the issue of Muhammad Yasin Malik and other Kashmiri leaders with APPG of Kashmir and Friends of Kashmir in the British Parliament. He thanked Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Movement for Self-determination International and his entire team for raising their voice for the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
