WANA: Journalist Fazal Khan Wazir at District Headquarter Hospital Wana, Lower South Waziristan, strongly condemned the torture and violence and demands immediate action against those involved.
In this regard, an important cabinet meeting of District Press Club Wana was held under the chairs of President Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
In which other cabinet members, Noor Ali Khan, Zardad Khan, Miraj Khalid, Qistam Ullah, Adam Khan Wazir, Zafar and journalist Waseem also participated.
On this occasion, journalists inquired about the welfare of Fazal Khan, the victim of violence in the hospital, and also inquired about the incident from the HM/MS of the hospital.
In which the health manager of the hospital said that he is sorry for the employees who tortured the journalist, On the intervention of the District Press Club cabinet, the hospital Health manager formed a three-member committee to inquire into the incident, which will submit a report within three days.
Journalist Fazal Khan who is associated with FM Snow Radio Waziristan and daily Primex.
He says that I took my father for treatment but the doctors and staff were not there.
On which I covered the protest of patients’ relatives, after which I was tortured by Class IV employees.
District Press Club president and cabinet members unanimously condemned the torture and violence on Fazal Khan, and demanded immediate action from the administration against those involved, the cabinet members said that they will never accept the language restrictions of journalists, while no one can stop them from writing the truth and facts.
