FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) is making serious endeavours to empower women for self employment/ enter into job market by providing them demand driven trainings in the exclusive women oriented environments at Business Incubation Centre first ever set up by them, said Mrs. Rubina Amjad, President FWCCI.
She was talking to the media with reference to the Labour Day. She expressed great concern that Pakistan is blessed with 45 percent of its youth population with majority of female genders but dwindling back only due to the non-involvement & due participation of its male and female gender workers in the national mainstream economy. She was also critical that women are not provided equal opportunities as enjoyed by the male gender workers in our society.
She appreciated the Government efforts for the mainstreaming of the women in national
economy and urged micro finance organizations to extend small loans particularly to the
educated female genders so that they could start their own businesses.
She further said that Government should also provide them Information Technology (I.T) training so that they might enter into the field of global IT by using different available E-Commerce platforms.
President Robina was appreciative regarding
the State Bank of Pakistan which is doing out subsidized loans to the female genders but clarified that, over all amount should also be increased in proportion to their population share as per need and necessity.
She further affirmed that on availing maximum job opportunities to female genders would eradicate the beggars and begging tendency and trends of youth age female genders that is scaling up day by day.
Furthermore, on the eve of the labour day, Mrs. Asma Noureen incharge Shipco Transport Private Limited Faisalabad office expressed that she had started her job career from CMA company Faisalabad office when she was 18- years old & that time there was very rare participation of female genders in private sectors/ organizations but it the matter of self determination to work liberally anywhere without any fear.
Mrs. Asma further elaborated that she has been performing her duties for last 27- years experiencing that the knowledge, experience and aptitude are the keys to forward yourself in any field provided that you have self-esteem and confidence even she supported her family economically in a good way being an orphan.
Asma clarified that female genders must be encouraged and secured so that they might come forward with out any hesitation.
