Rawalpindi,  (Parliament Times) : Lauded for the role he played at the very initial stage of the current freedom struggle.

Shaheed M. HanifMalik @ Amir, a person of simplicity was today, on his martyrdom day, remembered by JKLF and glowing tributes were paid to him for his sacrifices and the role he played in the current freedom struggle.

According to the statement issued from party’s central information office, the JKLF spokesman, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, lauded the role shaheed M. Hanif played at the very initial stage of the current freedom movement especially in 1988-89.
He said that Hanif was a very close and confident associate of HAJY group and his commendable role he played at that time actually helped JKLF and its leaders to achieve their results.

While terming his role as unforgettable, the spokesman said that he was a very soft spoken and pious personality with complete honesty, commitment and loyalty towards his leadership, ideology and the freedom movement.

Shaheed Hanif fell to the bullets of trigger happy Indian forces in Srinagar while he was traveling in a car on 27th April, 1991. With his martyrdom, not only the JKLF lost its best cadre but its leadership also lost their friend and comrade, the spokesman added. For being a very close friend, the spokesman termed his death as his personal loss as well.

The spokesman offered salutations to Shaheed Hanif’s whole family for their sacrifices rendered during the freedom struggle.

While remembering the martyrs of Jammu Kashmir, JKLF vowed to continue the freedom struggle till the ultimate goal of freedom is achieved and also prayed for their highest place in Jannah.
