It is undeniable fact that the law and order situation of our beloved Pakistan is in complete dismal condition owing to lethargic and unprofessional negligences of LEAs. Each day, citizens of Pakistan face multiple challenges of robberies, dacoits and thefts. Recently, some gangs of thieves are ultra-active in their criminal practices of bike-stealings from Hyderabad. More than two dozens of motorcycles have been stolen from Civil Hospital Hyderabad within ten days. Police and other law enforcement agencies have not been looking after the public and their property properly and honestly. On 11th April 2023, my some relatives went to civil hospital for the treatment of hepatitis. They stood their CD-70 2022 model in black colour in the parking lot at 10:33 am. The two thieves stole their bike within five minutes, and took the bike to unknown place. The thieves can clearly be seen in CCTV photages. Yet, police says that the stolen bike might not be recovered as it all depends on luck. I asked them, then why such a burden of your salaries is placed on government treasury? Why public is following you and your guidances? Let the public go on their own luck and close the police institution. More than 190 CCTV cameras are installed inside the civil hospital Hyderabad. The CCTV room incharge said that it is a daily routine of criminals to steal four to five new bikes from the vicinity of hospital. Upon listening this, I thought what a nuclear State Pakistan is! Even illiterate and common thieves beat such a large institution of only Islamic nuclear weapon state. The criminal practices in Hyderabad inarguably tells the professionalism of Sindh Police, especially of Hyderabad Police. DIG Pir Muhammad Shah and SSP Amjad Ali Sheikh of Hyderabad are requested to look after the public grievances, and try to make police professional in dealing such crimes.
