TAXILA: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) local chapter leaders on Friday finalized a strategy for maximum participation from twin cities of Taxila and Wah in upcoming party workers’ convention which would be addressed by Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz. The arrangements and strategy was finalized at party meeting at Kohistan Secretariat presided by President PML-N District Rawalpindi Malik Umar Farooq while President Wah chapter Raja Sarfraz Asghar, tehsil President Fayyaz Khan Tanoli, ticket Holder PP-19 Zeeshan Siddique Butt and ticket Holder NA-63 Barrister Aqeel Malik also addressed on this occasion. While Members of Cantonment board, former councilors, office bearers of various party wings, lawyers, Christian Community and a large number of PML-N workers participated. The leaders vowed to accord Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz a red carpet welcome in the event as the party would mobilize masses for upcoming by elections in the area. Speaking on this occasion, President PML-N District Rawalpindi Malik Umar Farooq has said that the party under the dynamic leadership Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz would lock horns in by election with the perfect strategy. He said that Pakistan is currently on the verge of an economic meltdown, but the superb leadership and tactics of the government have been the only thing preventing a complete debt default. He said that the Maryam Nawaz in aggressive mode which is politics of the hour and would play key role in the by elections. He said that all out preparation made for PML-N workers’ convention would be held in Rawalpindi on Feb 19, whereas the party organizational meeting would be held the next day, on Feb 20.

President Wah chapter Raja Sarfraz Asghar while speaking on this occasion has said that the PML-N has always stood firm in its resolve to fight for a prosperous Pakistan, to ensure the well-being, security and dignity of its citizens, and to struggle against the forces that seek to take it from them. “Despite being faced with several hurdles on numerous occasions, this resolve has not faltered, and it is unfortunate to see the citizens of Pakistan being played for fools by the agents of a fascist regime.” He added.

Ticket Holder NA-63 Barrister Aqeel Malik while speaking on this occasion has said that Maryam Nawaz has chosen to stay and help steer the country to a prosperous future, and to deny her of that or accuse her of things that have only been perpetrated by agents of chaos is unjustified.
