Are you or someone you know being Forced to marry? It’s important to know that Forced marriage is not only a human rights violation, but also a form of violence against women that is punishable by law.ln such situations these kinds of marriage are considered a Forced marriage. According to pakistan law, marrying someone who is 16 or younger and According to Sindh law, marrying someone who has not turned 18 is considered a crime to the law.Shockingly in pakistan parents are themselves are decisions maker for their children in base of marriage,and asking their wishes make no importance for the parents. They do what they think is good, but such decision makes their children’s life worse in future.In addition ,there are some parents who for their benefit throw their children in problems. According to Islam it is the duty of parents that they should ask their children while they are taking decision about their lives,are they happy with what their parents have decided for them,if not then he or she has rights to refuse what their parents have decided. Sometimes parents do emotionally blackmail their children in such conditions especially in case of marriage, for being parents they must take care their children’s will and wishes And must not force them for marriage while their children are not willing.
