MUZAFFARABAD,  (Parliament Times): In the press released by the spokesperson Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission, it has been said that every member of the Kashmir Council is required to submit the details of their assets and their dependent wives and children before 30th June every year from 31st December of the same year. Compile the sample on your stamp paper and submit it to the Election Commission as per earlier, but the members of the Kashmir Council have not yet submitted the details of their assets for the financial year 2021-22 to the Election Commission. According to the purpose of sub-section 4 of Section 78 of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Elections Act 2020, every member of the Legislative Assembly is required to submit the details of his assets and those of his dependent wives and children before 30 June every year according to the sample stamp before 31 December of the same year. Compile on paper and submit to the Election Commission, but honorable members of the Legislative Assembly have not yet submitted their details of assets for the financial year 2021-22 to the Election Commission.

Names of Honorable Members are being published as required under Section 78 Sub-section (5) of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Elections Act 2020. According to section 78 sub-section (6) of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Elections Act 2020, if the details of assets are not submitted by these members by 15 January 2023, the membership of these honorable members may be suspended until the assets are submitted.
