Muzaffarabad,   (Parliament Times) : Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has said that United Nations should stop India from committing war crimes against innocent civilians.

In a statement issued on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that today, when the International Day for the protection of human rights is being celebrated all over the world, on the other hand, India under the guise of so called democracy, the state of Jammu and Kashmir is under the worst violation of human values ??and rights by imposing military siege.

He maintained that the world is living together like a village, but nearly two hundred thousand Kashmiri citizens have been killed in Occupied Kashmir since 1989.

He said that Indian soldiers orphaned 107,890 children in the occupied state and more than 24,000 Kashmiri women have become widows due to the martyrdom of their husbands.

Uzair said that brutal Indian soldiers sexually assaulted more than 11,000 Kashmiri women, killed 7,000 Kashmiri citizens and buried them in anonymous graves.

“Indian soldiers have disappeared the husbands of 2300 Kashmiri women for many years and forced them to live a life of semi-widow”, Ghazali lamented.

He said that the Indian army targeted around 3500 Kashmiri children, girls and youth with pellet guns, consequently took away their sight and disfigured their faces.

Ghazali voiced that when India is violating all the human, social and religious rights of Kashmiri citizens through 1 million troops why these international organizations are silent?

Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat said that the silence of the international community on Indian war crimes will deteriorate the peaceful situation in the region.

He demanded the United Nations to provide basic human rights to Kashmiri people and solve Kashmir issue according to UN passed resolutions before long.
