Indeed, much debate in Pakistan on Educational System including quality has been carried out that why education is broken into public and private categories. It emphasizes on the importance of breaking this line which has created weird phenomenon in people to decide to send their children for higher education either into public or private university. Increasing number of private universities show that the public universities are disables to provide the quality education. It is hard for students and their parents to choose a right place for the betterment of their children who will be backbone of their country and will represent a good production at international markets in the future. So, it is necessary to put light on what are the reasons and who are responsible behind presenting poor or low quality education in the public universities. In fact there can be the multiple causes behind apparent screen. First, the involvement of politicians in the selection of teachers and to support to those who deserve nothing but are being preferred to select for that positions in the universities, is one of the major barrier for not providing the quality of education. It usually happens with those who perform well and keep curiosity to teach with experience but they are ignored and kicked out by committee of selection at the time of interviews. What teachers who come through political support will provide to and to aware students to compete with the world by applying advanced sources. Surely, this is violation with the students and with subjects they teach. Is this not an open violation that in the universities a persons whose an actual job is to keep and collect records and accounts in the office but teaches. Better faculty is being kept at side and what they deserve they are not given. Subjects they like and keep grip. Second, providing low budget to maintain the system by government is also a big issue for the public universities in Pakistan. A proper material is not provided to facilitate the students to learn with more advanced techniques. Access of Wi-Fi, digital books , magazines, and computer labs in most of the universities are not being provided. Despite an increase of education budget, government has decided to decrease. Less funds are allocated to the public universities that’s why administration of every university is in loss. Third, syllabus designing of the course consisting traditional topics should be revised. In today’s fast-growing technology era they still do not have introduced the scientific methods and techniques. Subjects which teachers are assigned they do not even have knowledge about that subjects. Indeed, it is difficult for a teacher to teach another subject in which he or she has no grip but for the sake of money and duty they accept and then make the things trouble for the students. Of course that teacher will never perform correctly. Taking presentations individually and demand of an assignments in hand written, soft copies, and lack of group discussion in the class, lack of cooperation with the students even it is has been observed sometimes that teachers harass girls and use them for their personal interest. Fourth, lack of new scientific methods in teaching is one of the major reasons behind poor education. Indeed, it is examined that most of the teachers do not have a proper way of delivering a lecture it also decreases an interest of students to take part in the class. Complex style of speaking, way to cooperate with students and give no opportunity to talk is some reasons which really decrease interest of students during lecture to participate actively. It is truth that in fear most of the students do not ask question due to harsh behave of teachers when they give lecture in the class. Hesitate to ask from teacher is bad omen of teaching method of teachers. In real form they must apply new tips and techniques to create free and enjoyable environment in the class and they must unbound the students from complex situation. They need to start working on team based discussion and keep the students busy in different practical activities and give them chance to present one by one. By effective learning students can surely gain knowledge and can also reach at their destiny. After every six months there must be a proper training of teacher by experts, trainers and scholars. The government has an important role in helping its country’s people and to make the things easy for youth. Federal as well as provincial must take an active part to encourage the parents to get involved in their children’s education. They need to improve the educational system by applying scientific methods and it is only way to stand one to one with developing countries of the world. Government must come forward to take serious steps to maintain check and balance. In the public universities government have to work on selection on the merit basis. Administration of every public university should facilitate the students by giving access of digital books, magazines, journals, and a central library. Head of the department should arrange seminars, programs for students’ sake otherwise productions of our public universities may never compete with the students of other countries. It is time of science and technology and competition how markets will give space to present their production is not possible if we do not present a good production with sincere efforts we had better work on educational not to talk just in words. A strong educational system makes a society stronger.
