It is calculated from the recent reports that a large portion of Pakistan’s population is occupied by youth, which makes Pakistan one of the youngest country in the world.Most of the population of Pakistan is between 15 to 29 years of age.Currently,64 percent of Pakistan’s population is under 30 years,while 29 percent belong to the 15 to 29 years bracket.From these figures we can easily deduce the importance of youth in Pakistan.It would not be wrong to say that youth is the backbone of Pakistan.But the concern is that a country having such a strong backbone in the form of youth is still not a developed country.Can youth play a vital role in the development and progress of an undeveloped country Pakistan?This question has already confused a number of people rather made them restless.But in my opinion the answer to this question is a simple one.Yes,the youth can play a vital role in the progress of Pakistan but the same youth that is considered as a backbone of Pakistan is also a weak point of Pakistan.You may disagree to this very statement but this is a bitter reality.Youth can take Pakistan’s economy to the skies but the risk of falling headlong can’t be ignored if the same youth is uneducayed,unpolished, unequiped and clumsy in the field of technology. Pakistan right now stands at a very diffcult situation.On one hand due to the advantage of having the bulge of youth,Pakistan can hit the jackpot but can slip downward too.On another hand the enimies of Pakistan are consistently trying their best to somehow weak the backbone of Pakistan,by adopting different tactics.Every human has some weakness and our weakness is to remain all the time in our comfort zone.Our opponents know this weakness and never miss a single oppertunity to drag us further to our comfort zone.They know that no nation can progress by remaining in their comfort zone.Similarly we are most vulnerable to 5th generation war because of having the uneducated and untrainned bulge of youth.Countries other than our will-wishers easily make our youth fool through social media by attracting and engaging them in activities that leads it to destruction. The situation become more worst and mournable when it comes to authorities who make dicisions for the betterment of country;government.The government is silent spectator who is watching all this situation but don’t take steps to solve this demaging situation.The main issue that weaks the backbone of Pakistan,youth,is flaws in our education system.Our education system is outdated and also our teaching methods.Besides flaws in education system,the other main issue that our youth is facing is the issue of unemployment.The bulge of youth with no job in hand is useless but government is not thinking of it.In this 21st century where the world has become so modern and digital by adopting new technologies,our government seems to be allergic of adopting technologies.The government should prodive youth with modern system of education and new tecnologies so it should compete with world.The youth of Pakistan is extremely talented but unfortunately it is unpolished.No one can destroy our youth when it comes to wars,diseases and pandemics but these are defensive skills.The need of modern day is to be good in attacking skills that is to be good in technology.We should work hard in the field of technology.Why is a country having a bulge of youth unable to design its own vehicles?Why is a country having a bulge of youth unable to make the best selling smart phones?The answer is that our youth is clumsy in the field of technology.The bulge of youth that Pakistan has,can’t play a vital role in the progress of Pakistan if it is kept aside from technology.Bulge of youth with outdated education system and having allergies for technology can’t be positive point of Pakistan rather is a negative point of Pakistan. I think it is high time that our government should take steps to polish the skills of the youth by updating the outdated system of education and adopting new technologies.Also the youth should come out of their comfort zone and should work hard to play a role in the progress of Pakistan.If we don’t take these steps toward adoptation of technologies and doing hard work so the time is not that far away when historians will write about our downfall despite the fact of having a bulge of youth.
