FAISALABAD: The Deputy Commissioner, Imran Hamid Sheikh paid a detailed visit at the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau where he passed certain significant moments with inmates children. He quoted the lines of William Wordsworth ( A Poet of nature) saying ” A Child is a Father of the Man ”
He said that, each and every citizen ought to look after the children facing certain deprivations in this society, Children must be sent to education institutions instead they may become beggars in early childhood.
He visited class rooms, boys’ hostel, kitchen, bed rooms, computer and training classes and appreciated the overall arrangements managed by the CPI for the better improvement of the children.
He also distributed school bags among these students. He announced to install water filteration plant in CPI and asked CEO Health to make arrangements for visiting doctors on weekly bases for check up of children besides providing needful medicines.
He further said that children would also be included in the sports calender events. He assured the full cooperation for solving the problems of CPI. He said adding that permanent children would be imparted technical training in different trades to stand by in national affairs.
District Officer CPI Ijaz Aslam Dogar, Manager CPI Farhat Jabeen, Child Protection Officers Rubina Iqbal Cheema, Samina Nadir, Ulfat Abbas, Muhammad Rashid, Principal School Anam Anwar, Law Officer Adil Hussain and others were also present on the spot.
