He added that the punishment of criminals should be unforgiving, sufficient to deter would-be imitators. Terrorists must recognize that a life that indulges in terrorism is not worth living, no matter what the cause. Dr. Fai added that we are heartened by President Erdogan’s assurance to the nation that “Our people can rest assured that the culprits behind the attack will be punished as they deserve.”
