“The Elasticity of Time can be experienced with various states of mind. When you are happy you experience it as moving fast as compared to when you are sad” What is time? Time is an observed phenomenon, by means of which human beings sense and record changes in the environment and in the universe. Time which is a measuring instrument of changes experienced by our mind. Relation between Time, Mind and Consciousness: Time is not a fundamental physical reality like matter energy and physical space. Time exists only when you want to measure it. When mind feels unhappy, times appears to be too long. When it is happy times appears to be too short. When there is no mind that is no thoughts and emotions. When the mind is dull or unconscious, it is unable to experience itself. When the mind is excited or happy, time seems to be too short and when the mind is miserable, time seems to be too long. In fact time is a greatest healer just like the mind experiences time, this moment has a mind of its own, a big mind which has enormous and infinite organizing power. Thought is nothing but the ripple in this moment, and thus a few moments of no mind state gives the mind a lot of energy. Time is… SLOW: when you wait. FAST: when you are late DEADLY: when you are sad SHORT: when you are happy ENDLESS: when you are in pain How to improve your perception of time? There are some ways to improve your perception of time: Reduce traffic of mind: reduce traffic of your thoughts to feel the actual mind state and perceive the real time. If you have thoughts about past or bad memories you cannot do anything. No bad thoughts of your life in your mind can make you more creative. Set achievable targets: achievable goals with a relaxed mind changes to experience the way the mind perceive the time Write down your goal with as much detail as possible. Identify quantitative targets for tracking your progress and results. Make sure it’s possible to achieve the desired result. Acknowledge the practical requirements necessary to accomplish the goal. Believe in your Knowledge: Essentially, that notwithstanding, mastering time has to do with doing the things you planned to do when you planned to do them for no longer than you planned to do them. Equally vital too, you have to believe in your knowledge. Work intelligently rather than mechanically: when you work smartly and intelligently your ability to attain knowledge increases stop wasting time to irrelevant tasks the more you walk intelligently the more you save time. So have a nice time always
