Cold war hostility started soon after the second world war between the USSR and the USA by making alliances and meddling in the affairs of rival states along with encountering them in ecnomic and political spheres. Both rivals started Space war and technological warfare that has now reached to seventh generation war. Many analysts beleived that the cold war was officially eneded in 1991 after the disintegration of the former Soviet Union and its defeat in Afghanistan. While, some historians and beleive that currently, it has taken a new shape by the inclusion of new players such as China and the EU. Many developments after the Soviet,s disintegration prove that the cold war never ended owing to ego, arrogance, and self_interests that still persist. The US invasion of Afghanistan after the episode of 9/11 incident plays pivotal role in the aggrendize of cold war. The invasion despite many covert and uncovert aims had a hidden goal to encircle China and Russia. Consequently, all these three playrs fought with one another on the Afghan soil themselves and through their proxies. The game is still continued after the US pullout from Afghanistan last year. In 2014, when Russia annexed Cramia forcefully, the cold war between Russia, European Union, and America accelerated which has reached at its peak after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The world now has categorically divided into blocks of which one is leaded by America and Europe Union, and the UK, while the other by Russia and China. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine when a resolution was presented in the UN general assembly against Russia agression 143 members fevourd the resolution, 5 were against and 35 were absentees. During the invasion Russian president Vladimir Putin also threatened of using nuclear weapons. Iran has been another specimen of the ongoing cold war between America on one side and Russia and China on the other side. America has been supporting the internal movements and has been demanding of protection of civil rights in the country. It has also been demanding Iran to end all its nuclear weapons for which the US left 5+1 agreement. On the other side Russia and China have been cementing their alliences with Iran by signing bilateral security and trade agreements. The 400 billion dollars of agreements between Iran and China (Iran __China 25 years cooperation program) is the recent development. In the middle east crisis, cold war is continued too. For instance, in Syria, both America, and Chian and Russia are at diverse pages with one another. Russia has been supporting Bashar-ul-Asad while America has been harsh rival of him. Making new allieances in the world also reflects the continuity of Cold war. China has started the mighty BRI project to increase its sphere of influence. While the USA, on the other side has been in search of new friends for the encirclment of China. It initiativd the Quadruple alliance Quad. In addition, the G7, s B3W Build back better alliance tried to become an alternative to the BRI. On the flip side, the Russian and Chinese alliance has been against encirclment of the US. Capturing trade markets, armed race and space war, and proxies are their peak. America and its allies on one side while Russia and China on the other side are influencing countries politically. Moreover, Beijing has been influencing Eurasia and Africa through its BRI. China has been financing, constructing, renovating, and operating 21 ports throughout the world including Gwader, Hambantota, Port of Dublin of South Africa in Indian Ocean, Sudan port, Madawa port Eritrea, Dolarah port Djibouti, chittagong port Bangladesh, etc. This articulates that Both China and America are focusing on naval supremacy too. For instance , the South China sea has become a bone of contention while both are also focusing on the Pacific too. Cold war is continued yet with new characteristics and with the entrance of new players such as China and Europe in the game. Frosty talks between Russia and America and Europe and threats of use of nuclear weapons, Russian invasion of Ukraine, formulation of new alliances such as the BRI, and the B3W, etc. reflect that the history of Cold war is back again.
