WANA: Department of youth Affairs and District Administration South Waziristan organized a drug awareness program titled “Drug Free Waziristan”
at Chagmalai Jirga Hall.
Chief guest of the program was Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Amjad Meraj, Assistant Commissioner of Survekai Ijaz Akhtar and tribal elders participated in the awareness program in large numbers.
District Youth Officer Sardar Ali Khan Wazir told the participants about the “Drug Free Waziristan” campaign that the main objective of this campaign is to promote awareness and awareness about the negative effects of drugs at the general level.
The campaign aims to focus the attention of students, teachers, local tribal elders and especially the youth to be aware of the negative effects of drugs and to spread this campaign further so that this awareness campaign can reach every house and the drug will be stopped People should be aware of the curse.

Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Amjad Meraj while addressing the ceremony of “Drug free Waziristan” awareness campaign said that the initiation of drug awareness campaign across the district and the awareness about its prevention and its associated social, psychological, economic and Providing awareness of physical harm is a priority.
And it is the responsibility of all of us to make this campaign effective and successful throughout the district and to make the district an ideal district by making it drug free.
He further said that under a one-year internship program in the district, about a hundred youths will be given a monthly remuneration of twenty-five thousand so that they can acquire expertise in their respective fields.

On this occasion, DC South Waziristan and District Youth Officer appealed to the general public and especially the youth to join us in this campaign to make Waziristan a “Drug Free Waziristan”.
