Muzaffarabad,  (Parliament Times) : A massive protest was organized under the aegis of Pasban Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir against Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar’s speech at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) here on Saturday.

According to the details, large number of citizens participated in the protest by waving banners and black flags. They marched on the main road of AJK capital while chanting slogans of “Boycott Boycott India Boycott.”

While ddressing the protest, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that the Foreign Minister of India is teaching the world a lesson of peace which has Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for the last seventy four years.

He maintained that Indian forces have killed thousands of innocent civilians who raise their voice for the implementation of UN resolutions and that is ‘Plebiscite’.

“Millions of citizens were compelled to migrate while tens of thousands of Kashmiri citizens were injured by bullets, pellet guns and other violent attacks by Indian forces”, Ghazali added.

Moreover, he said that thousands of citizens were abducted from their homes by Indian forces, assassinated and buried in anonymous graves.

He stated the address of Indian foreign Minister at UNGA is an insult to this prestigious organization when their state government is committing human rights violations in occupied territory.

Uzair said that India is misleading the world on the reality of the Kashmir issue on international forums.

Bilal Ahmad Farooqui, the refugee leader of the protest, said in his speech that India is resorting lies to hide the deadly attacks on Indian Muslims, civilians in Kashmir and violent attacks on other minorities while the world is influenced by Indian propaganda.

Vice-Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights , Mushtaq-ul-Islam said that the speech of the Indian Foreign Minister is full of lies and demanded the international community to take notice of Indian crimes.

Political leader Shaukat Javed Mir said that India should fulfill its promises to the people of Jammu and Kashmir instead of misleading the world at international forums.

Other speakers including Khalid Mehmood Zaidi, Muhammad Sadiq Butt, Javed Ahmed Mughal, Usman Ali Hashim, Bilal Ahmed Ansari, Dr. Muhammad Manzoor, Uzair Alam Mughal, Ch. Muhammad Shehbaz, Sardar Ramzan advocate, Pervaiz Mughal advocate and Raja Sajeed Khan stressed on the demand of right to self-determination for the peaceful solution of Kashmir issue.

They also demanded the international community that they should ask India immediately abandon human rights violations, atrocities on civilians in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir which is an internationally recognized disputed state.
