Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that the PTI chairman and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will receive a rousing welcome from people of Azad Kashmir on his arrival to Muzaffarabad on 29 September.
“Besides party workers, devotees of Imran Khan from all corners of the state will throng to the capital city Muzaffarabad to welcome their beloved leader and express their solidarity”, the PM said adding that it would be a historic public meeting.
Hailing the PTI chairman’s clear cut policy on the issue of Kashmir, he said, “The way Imran Khan presented the case of Kashmiris in the United Nations during his tenure as the Prime Minister of Pakistan is unprecedented.
He said that the Kashmiri people not only trust Imran Khan but also have unwavering faith in his leadership.In his message to office bearers and workers of the party, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that the people of Azad Kashmir had been waiting for Imran Khan’s visit to Azad Kashmir for many months and after a long wait the program was finalized.
“This is purely a program of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, which is being organized on the invitation of Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir”, he said, adding that party activists should ensure their full participation in the upcoming Jalsa (procession). He urged the party workers to start a public outreach campaign in their respective areas and set up reception camps in every city to make it a success.He said that the people of Azad Kashmir reposed their trust in the PTI’s elections manifesto and gave their verdict in favour of the party during the previous elections.
The PTI government, he said, was utilizing all its resources to give a practical shape to its manifesto.
Meanwhile, Member Legislative Assembly Javed Butt and Member Assembly Asim Sharif Butt called on Prime Minister Sardar Tanvir Ilays Khan at his residence.
