MUZAFFARABAD (Press Release) : Spokesperson of Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education (male) has strongly denied the publication of the news of disappearance of official records in a newspaper. According to a press release issued here on other day from the directorate, it has been said that a news of disappearance of official records was published in the newspaper, which is based on false facts and is not true at all. All the official records are kept safe in directorate and no negligence at any level has been noticed so far in this regard. All its officers and officials of the said directorate are working very diligently under the supervision of director Talib Hussain Shah to solve the problems of masses on urgent basis. Various conspiratorial elements want to create sensation in the public and the society by spreading fake news which will not succeed in their nefarious purposes. The spokesman further said that the media plays an important role in forming the opinion and that is the reason why the various groups of the society takes it as a tool to spread their messages among public. Journalism is called the fourth pillar of any state whose main function is to play the role of a watchdog i.e. to promote good deeds in the society and prevent bad or wrong deeds to identify them so that they can be rectified but the media should also investigate the truth before publishing any news. By publishing false news, not only sensationalism is spread among the people, but the newspaper also spoils its credibility. The spokesman further said that such false news against the system is spread as a plan, few people want to gain interests by spreading false and fabricated news which prove to be harmful to thousands of people. If the news is published after research, then the negative elements will not be able to take advantage and the false news will not be strengthened. All the masses came in the offices of the directorate are treated with dignity and respect and their affairs are sorted out on a prompt basis. “Government affairs are carried out with utmost dutifulness and the journey of public service is being carried out with transparency” it has been added.
