Muzaffarabad, (PR): The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is making historic profit while recording an increase in other sectors including deposits, assets and remittances. In the first half of the year 2022, the bank’s profit has increased by 100% compared to last year to Rs 409 million. While presiding over a review meeting held at the head office, Mr. Khawar Saeed, the president and chief executive officer of the bank, said that the profit of the bank in the year 2019 was 139 million rupees, which increased to 301 million in 2020 and to Rs. 458 million in 2021. Which is 229 percent increase in one year. In the first half of 2022, the bank’s profit doubled to Rs 409 million, while the profit in the previous year’s half was Rs 205 million. The president of the bank said that the patronage of the Government of Azad Kashmir, the sincere efforts of the Board of Directors, especially its Chairman Khan Abdul Majid Khan and the team work of the bank proved that the best business results can be achieved by working with dedication and sincerity.
