Altaf Hamif Rao reports that participants of the seminar expressed their views on the similarities between the occupation of Ukraine and Kashmir and strongly condemned the occupation of Ukraine and Kashmir and the violations of human rights.

Speakers at the seminar expressed concern over the increasingly dangerous trend of occupying vulnerable nations through military force in other parts of the world, including Kashmir and Ukraine.

Speaking at the seminar, American intellectuals Annette French, Beverly Hill, Robert Shack supported the unequivocal demand for freedom of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said that India, Pakistan and China should withdraw their troops from Jammu and Kashmir and liberate Jammu and Kashmir. Status should be restored in line with international norms and commitments about the fate of the internationally recognized disputed states on the planet.

Speaking at the seminar through video link, Dmitry Balashov from Ukraine said that Ukraine has many nations like Kashmir, but the people of Ukraine, whether they belong to any region, race or religion, are not part of their country. are also opposed to division on the basis or assumption. He asked the Kashmiri people to stand up against the partition of their country like the Ukrainian people and not to compromise on their freedom.
Speaking at the seminar, KGC President Farooq Siddiqui said that “Western countries should look at the aggressors of Ukraine and Kashmir equally”.
Speaking at the seminar, Altaf Qadri said that the international community needs to understand that in order to resolve conflicts on a fair basis, they should talk directly with the people who are suffering due to the occupation instead of the occupying countries.

Raja Muzaffar, the host of the conference, thanked the participants of the seminar and said that the situation that the people of Ukraine are facing today is similar to the situation that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have seen during the three wars between India and Pakistan. . In seventy-five years, as a result of these wars, thousands of people will die in Jammu and Kashmir and thousands will be forced to migrate.

Speaking at the seminar, the senior leader of the Democratic Party and the Pakistan-American President of the Muslim Democratic Caucus Syed Fayyaz Hassan said that India and Pakistan have shown by their behavior that they are against the freedom of the Kashmiri people. Syed Hasan said that as an American of Pakistani origin, I demand from both the countries to withdraw their respective armies from Jammu and Kashmir and give the Kashmiri people a chance to take over the system of their own state and run the affairs of the state. Syed Hassan said that the military establishment of both countries has presented this region as a nuclear flashpoint and a dangerous conflict to blackmail the world.
In the seminar, tributes were paid to the Ukrainian and Kashmiri people for their brave struggle against foreign occupation. The resolution passed in the seminar declared clear support for the independence and sovereignty of the people of Ukraine and Kashmir.
Another resolution passed at the seminar condemned the use of draconian laws, arbitrary detentions, increasing police brutality and fake encounters by the Indian authorities to silence the legitimate political aspirations of Kashmiris.
In the conference, Russia, India and Pakistan were urged to withdraw their occupying forces from Ukraine and Kashmir and to respect the national integrity of both Kashmir and Ukraine.
The conference urged India and Pakistan to allow the UN Human Rights Commission, Amnesty International and Asia Watch to visit all areas of Jammu and Kashmir to investigate human rights violations on both sides of the ceasefire line. can go.
