Muzaffarabad: A rally was organized under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir
to renew and ratify the resolution of accession to Pakistan passed on 19 July 1947.

According to the details, a large number of elders, children and youth participated in the rally and raised slogans in favor of Pakistan and freedom of Kashmir. Participants of the rally marched on the main highway from Gharipan Chowk to Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk.

While addressing the rally, the speakers said that even after seventy-four years, the people of the state are renewing the resolution of 19 July 1947.

“The historic resolution passed by the Kashmiri leadership in Srinagar on July 19, 1947 was a practical expression of the ideological and intellectual commitment of Kashmiri Muslims to Pakistan”, speakers reiterated.

They said that the resolution passed on July 19 l was the expression of wishes and aspirations of the dominant Muslim majority in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Even before the partition of India, the pulsating leadership of the state of Jammu and Kashmir had realized the conspiracies of the Indian rulers, that’s why they had passed a resolution and declared independence from India”, they added.

Speakers said that Syed Ali Gillani gave guidance to the Kashmiri people by ratifying the July 19, 1947 resolution saying, “We are Pakistanis according to beacon of Islam and Pakistan is ours” while millions of Kashmiri people chant slogan, “Pakistan Se Rishta Kya, La Ilaha ilAllah”

“Burial of thousands of Kashmiri youth in Pakistani flags is actually a sign of commitment to the country Pakistan created in the name of Islam and exists as a love and ideology among the people of Jammu and Kashmir occupied by India.

While talking about Indian atrocities, speakers said that despite of state oppression, India has completely failed to eradicate the passion for freedom and love for Pakistan from the hearts of the Kashmiri people.

The speakers said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are trying to join Pakistan on the basis of the right of self-determination through a free, fair and impartial plebiscite according to the resolutions of the United Nations.

Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Vice Chairman International Forum for Justice Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Abdul Aziz Alvi, Usman Ali Hashim, Bilal Ahmad Farooqui, Muhammad Iqbal Awan, Ali Muhammad Butt, Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail, Raja Zakheer Khan, Muhammad Ismail Khan, Aslam Awan, Dr. Muhammad Manzoor, Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz, Raja Zaheer Khan, Riaz Ahmed Awan, Faizan Riasat were also present on the occasion.
