TARAKHAL, (Parliament Times) : Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that construction, development and prosperity of Azad Kashmir is our mission. We will make the state self-sufficient, eliminate backwardness and make the state a model state. We will not compromise on the dignity of the state nor will we take any kind of negligence in the service of the people. Muhammad Bashir Gorsi was a person dedicated to the cause of welfare. He served his people without any discrimination. Today, poor people are raising their hands and praying. The services of the late Bashir Gorsi will always be remembered. He expressed these views while addressing the first anniversary function of renowned political and social figure Muhammad Bashir Gorsi. The ceremony was presided over by Kamran Bashir Gorsi, son of late Muhammad Bashir Gorsi, former candidate of Legislative Assembly Constituency II. Kamran Bashir Gorsi, former Deputy Speaker and Member Assembly Sardar Amir Altaf, former Assembly candidate Sardar Arzash, former Assembly candidate Kashan Masood, retired President Moallem Mushtaq Ahmed Mohib, Tariq Mehnas, Fazleen Siddiqui, Riaz Gorsi, PPP leader Sardar Mansha Azeem Advocate, Khurram Chauhan Advocate, Raja Jamil, Sajjad Chaudhry, Asif Chaudhry and others also addressed. On the occasion, former Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that when he had a meeting with Bashir Gorsi, after listening to his thoughts and feelings, it was felt that he wanted to serve his people. Member Legislative Assembly Sardar Amir Altaf, former Assembly candidate Sardar Arzash, PTI leader Kashan Masood and others paid homage to the welfare services of Muhammad Bashir Gorsi.
Kamran Bashir Gorsi thanked all the dignitaries including former Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi and said that he would continue his father’s mission and would always be at the forefront of serving the people.
