Nigerian boxer ‘Abiola Mashood Atobateli’ Win the Ring

Gilgit-Baltistan played home to an international professional boxing event that Pakistan organized. At the first World Boxing Association tournament, which was held in Pakistan’s northern Gilgit-Baltistan region on June 11, 2022, competitors from ten different countries squared off against one another. These countries included Indonesia, UAE, Cameroon, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Lalik Jan Stadium in Gilgit, the capital of the province, was packed to the rafters with spectators to watch the WBA Asia Welterweight Championship matches. Abiola fights from the side of team Wazeer, which is managed by Usman Wazeer. Because of Abiola’s enthusiasm and interest in boxing, this opportunity has presented itself. He is very active member of Pakistan Boxing Council since previous 2 years. His first trip to Gilgit-Baltistan filled him with a sense of immense pride. He stated, “I am thankful to Usman Wazeer for putting on such an amazing event; it is the biggest ever boxing event. Gilgit people’s support and cheering voices for me in the ring and my triumph are extraordinary and unforgettable; I love Gilgit-Baltistan. Special thanks to the gorgeous, lively audience and for this hospitality.”
In addition to being a boxer, 29 years old Abiola possesses a wide range of creative mindsets, including those in directing, production, and web designing. He possesses a great deal of talent in a variety of areas. In addition to that, he is a very active member of SOA (School of Aesthetics). The unique elements of his voice as well as the poetry he writes for his songs set him apart. Being an entrepreneur and now gaining a name in the world of boxing has made his parent’s pride even greater.
